I am honored by the trust and confidence conferred upon me by my government to represent Rwanda in your respective countries. Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Rwanda and the United States were launched in 1962 soon after Rwanda gained its independence from Belgium. The two countries have since enjoyed cordial bilateral relations and have continued to foster mutually beneficial partnerships and to enhance people-to-people exchanges and friendship. The Government of Rwanda is also committed to promoting and expanding bilateral and economic cooperation with Mexico and Argentina. The Embassy of Rwanda offers Consular Services to Rwandan Citizens and the general public and provides up to date information on Rwanda’s politics, economy, foreign affairs, culture, education, science and technology.

The Embassy Website is an important portal through which you can access many government services. The Embassy of Rwanda has also progressively built a strong and sustained relationship with the United States Rwandan Community Abroad (USRCA) and local Rwandan Communities Abroad (RCAs) through service delivery and community mobilization. Broadening the scope of the Embassy’s outreach and engagement with the “6th  region” is paramount.
